Reflection on Strengthening the Party’s Construction in Non-Public Enterprises

It is a brand-new task of our Party to launch and strengthen the Party’s construction in non-public enterprises. With this work being just started, there is quite a long way to go for the establishment of sound theory, institution and methodology. This thesis has made a comparatively comprehensive study on strengthening the Party’s construction in non-public enterprises based on a combination of theory and practice. In the preface, by making a brief investigation into the Party’s documents concerned, the author points out that with the rapid development of non-public enterprises, it becomes a great task to strengthen our Party’s construction in this field. On this basis, Chapter 1 expounds that strengthening the Party’s construction in non-public enterprises is of great significance as to the consolidation of the Party’s governing basis, the guidance and promotion of these enterprises to healthy development. Chapter 2 investigates the current situation of the Party’s construction in non-public enterprises in our country. Achievements attained preliminarily as follows: building rate of the Party’s organizations increased remarkably, the state of Party member recruital improved gradually, and a group of advanced models for the Party’s construction emerged. Meanwhile, it is also pointed out that the Party’s construction in non-public enterprises lags far behind the development of non-public enterprises. With conspicuous problems existing here, which is manifested mainly in four aspects such as the weakness of our Party’s strength in non-public enterprises. Then, the author analyses their reasons from two aspects, i.e., people’s ideological cognition factors and the factors existing in the Party’s construction in non-public enterprises itself. At the end of this chapter, the author expounds the location of the Party’s organizations which is related to the overall situation of the Party’s construction in non-public enterprises. The rationality to orient the Party’s organizations in non-public enterprises as the political centers in the employees is argued, and the main function which the Party’s organization should fulfilled is expounded here as well.
